Internet developments around the world

We can say that our students belong to the age of technology is that no matter their economic status, most have access to a cell phone or a computer with internet at home or internet, the problem is not using this technology because we have shown that often use technology better than us, but the problem is you do not have the critical sense to give it a proper use of the information they receive, since most are limited to print the first page that gives the form without selecting the most important, to judge, much less read.
CONALEP students have been very adept at surfing the Internet, either on your phone or on their laptops as we can see young people in the corridors connected to the internet, checking your face book, twitter or Messenger but in reality the first is the most visited since it has the option to view messages, chat, find out what they are doing all your friends, post comments, videos, music, articles, etc.
Guide our work as facilitator of learning, is not alone in using the computer and its programs, but to awaken in students a critical sense to know to find information, select, share and make the internet a tool to support the construction of their own learning, using the various options presented as documentaries, videos, articles, books, audio books, blogs, etc.
For most students use the Internet to give is to look up information for homework and go to face book, although in the latter spend most of the time they spend online.
My students know that the Internet can find whatever you are looking for, know that there is almost everything, so give little importance to acquire concepts or storing information in mind and they have it on the network and can be found.
I made some questions to my students in the second half of Communication for Social Interaction and spoke of the uses that give internet and how to optimize this resource, as they themselves acknowledged that sometimes get lost surfing the net or losing so much time on Face book just to see what is happening around their friends or acquaintances.
The internet is a very important tool in the form of twenty-first century learning, however we must consider that we should not disconnect from reality and forget our own context because this is where we really need to work to transform our benefit and who we surround.
