In the statement posted on his Sony PlayStation blog has officially recognized the possibility that the person who entered the network services PlayStation Network and Qriocity, has stolen confidential information from a significant portion of users who have been recorded in its database.
Following the presentation of his statement today, Sony warning users that believe that the person who entered into their system was able to obtain details of their customers as the name and address (city, state, zip code), plus e-mail address, birth date and password for the PlayStation Network, among other information of interest.
Moreover, Sony executives have doubts whether this intruder also has access to user profile information such as your purchase history, billing address (city, state, zip code), in conjunction alert to the possibility that information numbers credit card, except the security code and expiration date, its customers may have been stolen as well.
In the statement today, Sony agents to invite users to be aware when they are used to give all your confidential information, email, telephone and other media that could be used for any scam. Sony warns that under no circumstances will communicate with customers asking for their credit card number, social security number or other personal information.
It is important that each user account on the Sony network services PlayStation Network and Qriocity log in and change your password once the system is restored, at the same time, warned that each person periodically review your account balance before the danger of stealing your money online.
As published by Sony, the severity of the case is extreme. After the attacks on its PlayStation Network and Qriocity services from 17 to 19 April, the service was disabled in general.
