Information technologies, software tools and the era of digitization are no longer an option but a necessity for development and progress of society, said the governor Javier Duarte Ochoa introducing the new government portal state and inaugurate the Expo Society, within the framework of World Internet, Telecommunications and Information Society.
The president said that in this commemoration, Veracruz endorses the commitment of entering fully into modernity and the state government is committed to innovation and use of technologies to bring together and provide better service to citizens.
Because technology, education, culture, information, business and health to exchange options are generating improvements to benefit people.
“In Veracruz understand the historical lesson that a little late today, could represent decades of backwardness in the future, and we understand that new technologies can and should be a tool to propel us toward further development of the state.”
Said tool Internet and communication are factors that help decrease the gap of inequality and therefore the state government’s effort has been directed to provide more rural telephony and connectivity. “Our commitment is to communicate with geographically remote communities, to unite the global community is undoubtedly because progress.”
Accompanied by Carlos Duarte Munoz, representative of the Secretary of Federal Communications, Dionysius Perez-Jerome and Mauritius Frescoing Braver man, President of the Board of the Mexican Internet Association, Duarte Ochoa reiterated his commitment to boost the internet and communication technologies as elements that transform and democratize society and transparent management of government.
At the same time, instructed the ministries of Finance and Communications to expedite steps to communicate to all regions and all people, in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Transportation of the Federal Government.
He said he also will advance Veracruz port on the TV, “we become the first federal entity to have its own satellite communication link. This will make it possible to deploy our own satellite communications in disaster and above all, advance communication remote locations. “
He added that next to this effort is the coordination with the federation that will include 200 communities’ thousand points of satellite connectivity.
