How to add information to memory

How to add information to memoryAlready working in laboratories with the chip implanted in the brain with electrical impulses stimulate and add information and have been shown to increase memory in tests on mice and monkeys. A future not only be used “Chip” for memory enhancement in humans but is considering the immediate translation of multilingual language, which means to interpret and speak multiple languages ??without the need to study them. The same may be possible with the learning of any material whether for engineering, medicine, law, etc.. We must be vigilant and know standard process with these advances in chip technology implants because they can cancel the use of natural intelligence and the failure of any component manufacturing and incorporated into the human brain can cause more disruption than good.

How eco-technology strategy

How eco-technology strategy for IntelOn the eve of the Intel Developer Forum, held between 13 and 15 September, Intel Corporation shows the role played by various types of computing in the field of disaster management. Moderated by Keri Carkeek, eco-technology strategist for Intel, the roundtable will focus on the phases of disaster management. Together with experts from the Carkeek be real, with experience on the subject, including:

* Perry Olson, IT risk management and security, Intel
* Michael Bowers, senior director of global emergency strategic response, Mercy Corps *
* Frank Schott, director of global program * NetHope
* Bob Marshall, president and CEO of Earth Networks *

Carkeek day begins with an introduction to disaster management, common terminology associated with it, and its different phases, and provides an overview of how this field will benefit from many innovations in computing. Carkeek, as well as invited expert speakers will cover the phases of disaster response, mitigation, preparedness and response, before the opening of the Exhibition of Technology.

The Technology Show features more than a dozen pieces related to the area of ??disaster management, from the alert and response to evacuation and traffic management. The following descriptions are a guide to explore research projects to be displayed.

Mitigation

Sixty percent of companies that lose their data make mistakes in the 6 months following a desastre1. The research presented focuses on “continuity of business” and how to enhance resilience to disasters through preventive planning.

Simulation of extreme events of Disaster Preparedness

Virtual environments are often used for gaming, but Intel researchers have developed a new software architecture that, when combined with a cloud computing model, allows applications to scale user experiences beyond the existing limits. “Distributed Scene Graph” (“Distributed Scene Graph”) is a rich 3-D display based on the cloud, which allows thousands of people participating in a simulated disaster scenario. The virtual experience will help communities understand what is likely to happen on a large scale using immersive gaming serious. Although the game simulates only a fraction of the problems that occur during a disaster (eg, limited communication and transportation problems), the frame can be expanded to add many different simulation engines. The use of large-scale games involving Internet extends through the Internet for a fraction of the cost of existing training exercises. The natural reactions of the participants within the safe confines of the simulated environment can be observed and studied by experts who can create better decision-making and training tools in the community

Windows XP is the most successful operating system in Microsoft history

Windows XPWindows XP comes to be talking about an operating system that has exactly 10 years ago. And that has probably been the most successful operating system of Microsoft’s history was still in good shape and with a user fee too high for software that despite their numerous service packs and updates and is too outdated for times. The blame for this has been thus have several factors, including how much the company was slow to get Windows Vista and the complete failure it was this.

Microsoft makes little set in motion a campaign to have the 1000 days of life that remain to support the operating system, an attempt by the many who already has done so little to small users will migrate to newer versions. Especially Windows 7, which is a great operating system to rise to the occasion (and it says a user of OS X). Good news in that sense to the company and for the first time and that according to a study reported Net Applications share users within Windows XP has dropped by 50% first time staying in a apuradísimo (but sufficient) 49 , 69%.

The study also highlights that the share of Windows 7 will not only increase and it reaches a 27.92% market share, now global, versus 10% users of OS X and 0.91% of Linux users . Vista is a 9.27% ??which still leaves Microsoft as the dominant firm controlling an overwhelming 87.66% of all desktop operating systems. This is good news for Windows XP, although it is a system still used by millions of people (in fact many of you probably read from me ye him) it is necessary that users begin to migrate to better and more advanced versions.

Probably the time to spend those 1000 days of support offered by Microsoft, which is slightly less than 3 years and will be out the next version, reportedly called Windows 8, even more XP leaving in the lurch. Upgrading to Windows 7 should start to become a must for many and will not be surprising that large pieces of software manufacturers well known and widely used by many people (read: Photoshop or AutoCAD) begin to also withdraw support for XP to force further change to Windows 7 or Vista, if no other option. Which is your idea
about a good thing that XP has reached this percentage? How many of you continue to use Windows XP?

Internet developments around the world

Internet developments around the worldWe can say that our students belong to the age of technology is that no matter their economic status, most have access to a cell phone or a computer with internet at home or internet, the problem is not using this technology because we have shown that often use technology better than us, but the problem is you do not have the critical sense to give it a proper use of the information they receive, since most are limited to print the first page that gives the form without selecting the most important, to judge, much less read.

CONALEP students have been very adept at surfing the Internet, either on your phone or on their laptops as we can see young people in the corridors connected to the internet, checking your face book, twitter or Messenger but in reality the first is the most visited since it has the option to view messages, chat, find out what they are doing all your friends, post comments, videos, music, articles, etc.

Guide our work as facilitator of learning, is not alone in using the computer and its programs, but to awaken in students a critical sense to know to find information, select, share and make the internet a tool to support the construction of their own learning, using the various options presented as documentaries, videos, articles, books, audio books, blogs, etc.

For most students use the Internet to give is to look up information for homework and go to face book, although in the latter spend most of the time they spend online.
My students know that the Internet can find whatever you are looking for, know that there is almost everything, so give little importance to acquire concepts or storing information in mind and they have it on the network and can be found.

I made some questions to my students in the second half of Communication for Social Interaction and spoke of the uses that give internet and how to optimize this resource, as they themselves acknowledged that sometimes get lost surfing the net or losing so much time on Face book just to see what is happening around their friends or acquaintances.

The internet is a very important tool in the form of twenty-first century learning, however we must consider that we should not disconnect from reality and forget our own context because this is where we really need to work to transform our benefit and who we surround.
